When and Where Was the Conception of Jesus Christ?
The conception of Jesus Christ happened over two thousand years ago and we are still talking and writing about it today. This speaks to the relevance and the impact it has had on the lives of the world.
More than two millenniums ago, the Lord sent His angel Gabriel to a city of Galilee, called Nazareth, to a young virgin, named Mary, to inform her that He had chosen her for the conception of His Son, Jesus Christ, (Luke 1:26).
And if it’s possible, two thousand years into the future we may still be discussing the process of the Virgin Mary becoming pregnant with her first child, Jesus Christ our Lord.
Even though how it happened and where and who were involved present a certain lure, why it occurred is my prime concern today.
However, before we examine the process of how Mary got pregnant with Jesus let’s try to be on the same page with everyone.
What is the Conception of Jesus Christ?
It’s the process by which Mary became pregnant with Jesus Christ. Even by today’s standards, how she became pregnant is unique and different from all other beginnings before and after that of Jesus Christ.
How is the Conception of Jesus Christ Different?
His conception is diverse from all others in a vast number of ways. However, here we shall only focus on three of them.
First, it’s the only conception of any child that was foretold for an extended time before it happened.
Many, many, many millenniums ago, the Lord God Himself tells us in advance of the formation of Jesus Christ as an embryo.
This is the first time He informs us of the Immaculate Conception of His Son, Jesus Christ. We learn of it, in a conversation he was having with Lucifer in the Garden of Eden.
Antagonism Between the two Before Conception
The Lord enlightens him and us: “And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel,”(Genesis 3:15).
Additionally, besides Moses, many other prophets of the Lord foretold Jesus’ conception as a fetus.
Second, not only has history not record any other conception of any other child spoken of so long in advance, but Jesus’ conception is different from all others because he is the only “seed of a woman”.
Jesus is the Only Seed of a Woman
The following is an excerpt from my first book, “Living Soul”on the topic of the conception of Jesus Christ.
“The Lord God in His limitless knowledge and infinite wisdom knows that He has to reconcile man from his fallen state of sin to Himself.
Therefore, from the start, He made adequate provisions to restore humanity to living souls and sons of God.
Consequently, He informed us that the seed of the woman would harm the seed of the Serpent. It is customary to speak of a child as the seed of the man, but because a virgin shall conceive without a man’s sperm, the Bible now speaks of “her seed.
First Prophecy of the Conception of Jesus
This is one of the prophecies of the Immaculate Conception of Jesus Christ, and of satanic attack on him, and of his victory over Satan.
Consequently, the Lord God spoke by the prophet Abraham and said, “God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering” (Genesis 22:8).
In the scripture above, Abraham spoke of God becoming flesh as Jesus Christ to die for the world. We know that God is a Spirit (John 4:24).
A spirit does not possess flesh and blood, but blood isnecessary for the atonement of souls or for the remission of sins. That is why a spirit had to become a man to bleed; and for that reason, He supplied Himself as a lamb for a burnt offering.
John the Baptist Recognized Him
Centuries later, when John the Baptist saw the Lamb he recognized him and spoke of him.
“The next day John” [sees] “Jesus coming unto him, and” [says] “Behold the Lamb of God, which” [takes] “away the sin of the world” (John 1:29).”
The third and final manner in which the conception of Jesus Christ is unique, concerns his Father.
Again, since I have written about this topic, I will utilize some more data from “Living Soul”.
Similarities and Differences Between the First Man Adam and the Last Adam
The first man Adam is a type of Jesus Christ. The former wasn’t the seed of any man, because the Lord God was his father.
Similarly, the latter is not the seed of and man either because the Lord God is also his father. “but he is the seed of a woman” (Genesis 3:15). He is the Son of God.
But the first Adam had no mother.
How Was Jesus Christ Conceived?
The Holy Spirit impregnated Mary, for “she was found with child of the Holy Ghost” (Matthew 1:18).
This is the only time God impregnates any woman and for that reason, the last Adam is the only begotten Son of God (John 1:14).
According to Luke the physician, Mary, as a virgin, was concerned about how she could be a mother since she had never had sexual intercourse.
However, Gabriel, the messenger from God, had an explanation. It edifies both Mary and the church that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. She had a nonesuch come-upon experience. It had never happened prior to hers, and it will never occur after.
Who Conceived Jesus Christ?
In conclusion, let’s observe that the Holy Ghost fathered the first man Adam and the last Adam. They are sons of God.
Gabriel explains to Mary, “The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the powerof the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be called the Son of God” (Luke 1:35).”
Why is the Conception of Jesus Christ Important to Us?
Its significance informs the conversation concerning who qualifies to redeem humanity from sin.
If Jesus’ conception was by a natural earthly father then he couldn’t qualify to redeem us from sin because he too would be a sinner.
“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned,” (Romans5:12).

“Consequently, when a person (or animal) violates this command of God, and consumes meats with the blood, Satan uses this disobedience to his advantage.
Devils, at this juncture, attach themselves to that food and enter into the body of the disobedient person or animal. Because they now have legal and scriptural right to do so.
Follow Jesus in Doing this to Remain Healthy
For this reason, Jesus Christ always blesses food before consumption, and he teaches us to follow his example, (Matthew 26:26; Mark 6:41;8:7 and Luke 9:16).
When we bless anything in the name Jesus Christ, devils flee. So invoking his name before every meal and drink prevents devils from entering into our bodies unknown to us as we eat and drink.
Everything we consume goes to our bloodstream. If unclean spirits are consumed with the food or drink they enter the bloodstream too. And any organ they target manifest sickness and disease relative to the same.
Why Was Jesus’ Bloodline Protected?
During copulation, a man transfers any devils resident in his blood. He deposits them into the blood of any children he fathered with their mother. And they in turn pass it on in an identical manner. The blood of the mother does not enter the child. Only the father’s, this is a known scientific fact.
Protect your bloodline. Because there is “enmity between” Satan and “the woman”, (Genesis 3:15), in earlier times, fallen-angels (sons of God or devils) had sex with women and produced giants in the earth, (Genesis 6:1-6 & Daniel 2:43).
As a result, the people became very violent and evil. Evil was so prevalent in the earth because of this that God had to destroy all but eight, (Genesis 6:5-7). Only Noah’s bloodline was found to be “perfect in his generations” (Genesis 6:9). All the others were defiled with devils.
For this reason, in the scriptures, choosing an appropriate spouse is one of the most important tasks for great men of God. And it should be a very prominent one for Believers today. Preserving a pure bloodline should be of utter most importance to Believers. Keep it devil-free! Be careful of whom you have coitus with.

The Virginal Conception of Jesus Prevents…
Therefore, a priest should only marry the widow of a priest or a virgin,(Ezekiel 44:22). And for that reason, Abraham would not allow his son Isaac to marry a heathen, (Genesis 24:1-4). And Mary the mother of Jesus became pregnant with him while she was a virgin.
Today, this is when scientists would declare a particular disease hereditary to a certain family. However, after a specified time has elapsed this chain automatically breaks, (Exodus 20:5 & Numbers 14:18).
But the Lord expects every Believer to break it explicitly at the dedication of each of our first-born male child. For all other children, Jesus showed us how it’s done.
This is How Jesus Breaks this Cycle
Therefore, he laid his hands on them and blessed them to break this cycle of demonic infestation that perpetuates, (Mark 10:16). Consequently, Simeon blessed baby Jesus for a similar reason, (Luke 2:25-32).” pg 104 – 106.
If Jesus had a natural father he would be born a sinner. Therefore, his blood wouldn’t atone for the sin of Adam or the “sin of the world”.
Subsequently, we would still be in sin and without hope of eternal life with Christ. Therefore, the Immaculate Conception of Jesus Christ ensures that his blood is free from all impurities including sin.
Subsequently, when he bled his blood removed our sins and no one besides him has that privilege. Every other man that was born of a woman wouldn’t qualify. Who else must we worship, only Christ Jesus our Lord.
