I shall investigate three main ways the name of Jesus Christ is different from other names. Prophets of God foretold the name of Jesus; angels of God announced and instructed it, and it is unique in nature and meaning.
However, let’s coordinate our definitions. To the remainder of the world, fasting may be many things but to the Believer in Jesus Christ, it’s unchangeable in nature and purpose. The former group often thinks of fasting as a trend; a pattern of eating or just another weight management tool. But to the latter, we observe it as a specific and spiritual duration away from all foods and drinks and while seeking God through prayer, separation, and purpose. It has always been a spiritual activity. Thus, the people who practiced it have always been spiritual.
This phrase, the prodigal son is very popular with everyone but especially with Christians. The Parable of the Prodigal Son may be one of Jesus’ most famous parables mentioned in Scripture. It not only explains how the Lord focuses on the lost souls, but it also makes clear how and why Christians should receive and socialize with unsaved people. Although above, I wrote that the Parable of the Prodigal Son is mentioned in Scripture, that is not quite true.
Jesus told the Parable of the Good Samaritan more than two thousand years ago. But, today everyone desires to be a Good Samaritan. However, in Jesus’ time, nobody wants to be a Samaritan much less to be a Good Samaritan. However two millennia later, the phrase Good Samaritan has become somewhat of a cliche. Mainly because many people and things possess this description, as a name.
Difference Among the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
Indeed the Holy Ghost, the Father, and the Son are not the same person.
The Holy Ghost and Father is a Spirit (John 4:24). The Son, Jesus Christ, is the only person of these three.
The relationship of Father, Son, and Holy Ghost describes the Godhead. This is an advanced topic for spiritually-mature born-again Believers.
Finally, the Bible didn’t say one heart and soul. It clearly states of one heart and of one soul. There is a difference. Let’s say what the Word says.
Today, much of the Scriptures are either misinterpreted or misapplied. Many Bible-Teachers and preachers misinterpret Scriptures because they misunderstand the writer's target audience. But most importantly, they don't allow the Scriptures to explicate themselves. Don't interpret the Word of God. Allow the Word to explain itself and you will never misinterpret the Scriptures!
